So Lovely 04:07

From the get-go Six Months to Live was a complicated situation. For Christ's sake, the band's name was an admission of the delicate nature of our existence. By the time we made this first EP, our spiritual leader, Matt Shupe, had moved to Florida, and our drummer, Mendel, had disintegrated into a million little pieces.

But we were able to replace those incredible musicians with two equally incredible players: Chris Brumbaugh (he's the good singer and tasteful gutarist) and Zack Littlefield (he's the engine) and, once everyone was up to speed, we cranked out this fantastic collection of songs (mostly written by Matt) in a couple of days in a basement studio helmed by Jason McDaniel and Sir William Yale and haunted by the Man of Leisure himself, Dario Rosa.

It would never again be so easy.

At the request of Jason and Jonathan, I am going to write liner notes for every freaking STD album. This will take some time.

Folk, rock, pop, psychedelia, holiday compilations, spoken word albums, and a pirate opera.

Sparky the Dog has been good since 1999. We celebrate the underdog, we put art over commerce, and we love you.
